The Institute of Law and Economics (ILE) is a private non-profit organization (company limited by guarantee) established in 1999 to foster collaboration, innovation, research/consultancy, public education and discussion between the legal and economic professions with a view to promoting a multi-disciplinary approach to sustainable development.

The primary development focus of the ILE is education and training, in particular legal and business education and training. The ILE has also provided business support services for The MSME Alliance, a network of over 36 Business Associations and other organizations representing the MSME sector.

The Institute of Law & Economics has been an affiliate of Holborn College and the University of London, providing tutorial support for all the major course pursued by  external LLB students.
